The ABRE Sustainability Forum takes place at a critical and decisive moment in light of the commitments and challenges facing the consumer goods value chain regarding packaging circularity in Brazil.
A new business landscape is emerging as new regulatory requirements push industry to advance simultaneously in materials technologies, packaging and processes, as well as in systemic approaches, helping to build a more effective circularity ecosystem.
On its first day, April 15, the ABRE Forum will explore the theme “Strategic approaches to advancing the circularity agenda in Brazil.” On April 16, the presentations and panels will address “The Role of Industry in Strengthening a Systemic Agenda.”
The event will give voice to the consumer goods industry, which will present its cases and initiatives; to the packaging industry, focusing on technologies and partnerships; to municipalities and their local programs; to waste pickers and the challenges they face in collecting materials; to stakeholders who will share their systemic perspectives; and to international speakers who will present their experience and trajectory in developing the packaging circularity agenda and meeting regulatory requirements in Brazil, Europe, and Chile.
Based on these discussions, the ABRE Forum seeks to develop a map of challenges and pathways to guide companies toward routes for adapting to new circularity requirements.
The ABRE Forum discussions take place in a unique strategic networking> environment, facilitating and accelerating valuable connections, new partnerships, and alignment.
Two days that accelerate strategic connections and new partnerships, opportunities, and business!

ABRE – Brazilian Packaging Association, founded in 1967, was born to be a reference and the connection between different links that make up the Brazilian packaging ecosystem. Just like the packaging, the Association has evolved over these 58 years and has followed the wishes and needs of consumers. On our work agenda are themes such as circular economy, sustainability, innovation, new business models, technology, digitization, education, among others. Through various actions, we present to our associates and the packaging and consumer goods chain the main economic, social and cultural movements promoting the dissemination of knowledge and the importance of packaging in modern society. Among our pillars are Transparency, Sustainability and Protagonism. This is how we open the doors to innovation and evolution in the Brazilian packaging ecosystem: encouraging our companies and professionals to play a leading role, fostering more sustainable business models and building transparent relationships.
